Egyptian-born, New Zealand soprano Amina Edris's 2021-22 season features a number of major international house and role debuts, including the roles of Violetta, Micaëla, and Rameau's effervescent La Folie. She also makes her debut at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence as Adalgisa in Norma.

ALICE | OPÉRA NATIONAL DE BORDEAUX

Ms. Edris returns to Opéra National de Bordeaux as Alica in Meyerbeer's Robert le Diable alongside John Osborn in the title role. Conducted by Marc Minkowski, directed by Luc Birraux.
