Ms. Edris returns to the Opéra national de Paris in the title role of Manon. ForumOpera praised her performance in the same production in 2020, writing, “Amina Edris literally brought the Opera Bastille to their knees thanks to her unparalleled portrayal of the title role, vocally as much as theatrically… The warm colours of her timbre lack no allure and, the cherry on the cake, her French is impeccable”.
Conducted by Pierre Dumoussaud, this revival of this Vincent Huguet production features Benjamin Bernheim or Roberto Alagna as Le Chevalier des Grieux (depent on the performance date), Andrzej Filończyk as Lescaut, and Nicolas Cavallier as Le Comte des Grieux.
